Question: What is the PCR Showcase?

Answer: It’s a personalised and proactive recruitment service, reserved for the top 20% - 30% of new media talent in the country.

There are three component parts:

1. We create your own unique marketing profile to help you stand out from the crowd.

  • The profile doesn’t contain your name or any personal details, so your identity remains confidential until a client requests your CV or an interview. (We will never send your full CV to an employer until we have your permission).
  • You approve the profile before we use it.
  • We work together on building a list of target companies you could be interested in working with.
  • Your profile is a live document that we update each time you come free from an assignment, or acquire new skills and achievements.

2. We undertake a proactive, personalised, and complimentary marketing service on your behalf as you come free from contracts.

  • We maintain close contact with you to always understand your true availability and ideal requirements.
  • At relevant times, (ideally at least two weeks before you come free from your current assignment) we include your profile into our marketing programs. In doing this we guarantee to present you up to the minute profile to a relevant group of hiring managers, within your desired geographical area.
  • Our marketing programs have a variety of strands:
    We have a growing list of hiring managers requesting to see the talent we have coming free on a weekly basis.
    We send a monthly e-newsletter detailing our up and coming talent.
    We’re test-marketing our best talent using Google AdWords and other search engines, using very focussed key word campaigns.
    We have dedicated Account Managers working on assignments from some of the best UK companies in Broadcasting, Media, Finance and Retail.
  • Our aim with this service is to save you the time and hassle associated with job hunting.

3. When placed, we aim to provide you with better commercial terms and a higher level of service than you would receive from most mainstream agencies.

  • We have a transparent policy on the margin we charge, so you know what we are earning and that we are being fair.
  • We pay referral fees to our talent pool contractors for referred friends and colleagues we place.
  • We run a payroll service four days of the week, so you get paid quicker.
  • We provide our clients with a 48 hour - 100% guarantee on our talent pool contractors, so they can hire at minimum risk.
  • We have a quarterly social gathering in London, which gives you access into a network of like minded and talented people.
